Made in Ukraine tank T-64, together with thank T-80, are the only tanks in the word equipped with automated system of shell loading.

This system exclude the man
from the process of tank shell type separation and loading it to the gun.
Other countries like German, USA, UK do not have such systems on their tanks.
France and Japan have it only in some modern models of tanks.
Taking into consideration this situation we want to offer the use of separate T-64 tank turrets as remotely controlled fighting modules which can work without the crew. (Photo 1,2)
These modules can be used for organization of defense lines of ground or sea border regions. (Picture 3)
These modules can fire upon
control of operator which be placed from
the module for hundreds of kilometers.
The control of the module/modules can be made using wire, laser or satellite channels with the use of definite software.

The turret of the tank T-64 with all mechanical and electrical systems and loading system is one unit and can be easily placed on concrete basement with ring support for the ring of the turret. Electric supply is 24 volts.
Control system of the turret should be additionally modernized for remote control, optical systems of main sight and sight of the MG equipped with TV cameras.
This modernized module has 24 hours readiness and do not need much service.
Can fire with high precision
on the distance till
Because of high armor protection this module can be destroyed only in case of direct hit by the aviation bomb or missile with explosive weight more than 50 kg.
The use of these modules together with other anti aircraft systems, artillery and other systems can create rather powerful line of defense. |
